The Stables
Double H Stables is a single trainer facility owned and operated by Julia Dupont. The stables provides a welcoming, supportive, and drama free environment for kids and adults. Whether clients are aiming for competitions or leisurely rides, Julia ensures their time is rewarding, memorable, and fun. There is something for everyone, from kids taking their first lesson to adults looking for more guidance or vice versa. It is conveniently located near Lancaster, Jefferson, Littleton, Carroll, Groveton, NH, and Lunenburg, VT.
The facility consists of a 80’x80’ outdoor arena, a 16’x19’ barn, and a 10’x16’ shed row. There is a pond on the facility, as well as a quiet loop and dirt road to get out of the arena setting. The stables is always improving and has goals of adding a trail with options to jump for 2025.
About The Trainer
Julia has expertise in the hunt seat, western pleasure, and trail riding disciplines. Proper biomechanics for the horse and rider is an integral part of her teachings. She has competed successfully in the Northeast zone in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Her equine passion took off 19 years ago when her parents signed her up for her first lesson. Since then, she has enjoyed competing, trail riding, learning from industry professionals, and being in the barn atmosphere. Growing up she lived next to the barn, which gave her an extraordinary opportunity to build ground connections with and ride a variety of horses. Her beautiful seat can be attributed to her childhood horse, who she often rode bareback.
Julia has a passion for helping horses. Whether it is guiding them to use their body correctly or transforming them from malnourishment. She wants to create an equine partner that is healthy and happy from how they work to how they are fed. The horse pictured is just one of the many horses Julia has transformed. He is a 2 year old Arabian colt that came from a neglect case, and he now looks incredible.

Julia has a beautiful family consisting of her partner Dylan and 2 daughters, Haisley and Isla. Mainly living in Southern NH, she was always attracted to the North when visiting family. After meeting Dylan, she made it her permanent residence in 2022. She is a 3rd generation horsewoman and hopes to pass her love on to her daughters.
