Lessons
Double H Stables provides skillful and professional instruction in hunt seat, western pleasure, and trail riding disciplines for children (3+) and adults. Lessons are for those that are looking for leisurely rides and competitors. The lessons are based off horsemanship skills including riding, horse and stable husbandry, equine communication, equipment use and maintenance, etc.. Riders will learn to have an independent and balanced seat, while maintaining the well being of their horse. Julia’s tailored approach helps every rider succeed with confidence.
Lessons are held outdoors, consisting of mounted and/or unmounted time. The Stables is open Monday - Friday, year-round, by appointment only. Spots are limited and continuing clients with lesson packages will be prioritized for scheduling. To help maintain the longevity of the horses, unmounted horsemanship lessons will be offered to those weighing >200 lbs.
